Tytsjerksteradiel raises Orange the World flag
Starting today, the Orange the World flag flies at the town hall in Burgum. By doing so, Tytsjerksteradiel joins the worldwide campaign against violence against women and girls.
A visible signal
From Nov. 25 to Dec. 10, buildings around the world turn orange, the color of hope and a future without violence. Violence against women and girls occurs more often than we think. Also in Fryslân. Violence can be physical, sexual, emotional or online. By participating in the campaign we want to make this discussable, promote signaling and support victims.
Don't look away
Support victims and talk about transgressive behavior.
