Tytsjerksteradiel opts for clean and emission-free construction
The construction industry is on the eve of a major change. Less emission of nitrogen, CO₂ and particulate matter is essential for a healthy living environment and a future-proof municipality. The Municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel is therefore joining the national Clean and Emission-free Building Covenant (SEB).
Councilwoman Berber van Zandbergen:
"By joining SEB, we are taking an important step toward the future of the construction industry. We want to provide clarity in time and actively include regional companies in this development. In this way, we are jointly preparing for the changes to come."
The municipality wants to actively engage with local businesses to work together for a sustainable future. Building clean and emission-free is not a dot on the horizon; it is a present-day issue.
