Adults Fund for Sports and Culture
Since March 1, 2022, residents of Tytsjerksteradiel who are struggling financially have the opportunity to participate in sports or cultural activities through the Volwassenenfonds Sport & Cultuur (Adults Fund for Sports & Culture). The Adults Fund covers the membership fees, tuition fees and/or necessary equipment.
Applications via an intermediary
Residents can submit an application through an intermediary. You cannot do this yourself. Intermediaries are the neighborhood sports coaches from High Five Sportstimulering and Kearn Welzijn. The intermediaries know the rules and know if you are eligible. Contact details of intermediaries in our municipality can be found here. Often, sports or cultural activities can be started within 3 weeks after the application has been approved!
Submit application
Applications can only be submitted through an intermediary. An application is valid for a maximum of one year. You are responsible for submitting an application (again). No retroactive compensation will be provided.
What is the amount?
The Adult Fund determines the amount based on the amount of the tuition fee and any necessary supplies. After approval of the application, the contribution is paid directly to the sports or culture provider. Has the application for (sports) equipment been approved? Then you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed at a local store. The intermediary can tell you more about this.
