Adult Fund Sports and Culture

Since March 1, 2022, it has been possible for residents of Tytsjerksteradiel who are financially disadvantaged to participate in sports or culture through the Adult Fund Sport & Culture. The adult fund pays for membership fees, tuition and/or supplies.

Applying through an intermediary

Residents can apply through an intermediary. You cannot do this yourself. Intermediaries are the community sports coaches of High Five Sportstimulering and Kearn Welzijn. The intermediaries know the rules and know whether you qualify. Contact details of intermediaries in our municipality can be found here. You can often play sports or practice culture within 3 weeks after the application has been approved! 

Submit application

Thus, an application can only be submitted through an intermediary. An application is valid for a maximum of one year. You are responsible for (re)submitting an application. There is no retroactive reimbursement.

What is the amount?

The Adult Fund determines the amount based on the amount of tuition and possibly supplies. Once the application is approved, the contribution is paid directly to the sports or cultural provider. Is the application for (sports) supplies approved? Then you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed at a store in the neighborhood. The intermediary can tell you more about this.
