The Municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel intends to sell a portion of the parcel of land located near Gytsjerksterhoeke 14 in Gytsjerk, known in the land registry as Municipality of Giekerk, Section C, Number 3118, measuring approximately 27 m². The parcel to be sold is to be used for a transformer station. The sale price for the lot is €4,050.00, excluding 21% VAT; buyer pays all costs.

The municipality is of the opinion that, based on objective, reasonable and testable criteria, there is 1 serious candidate eligible to purchase this piece of land. Network operators have an obligation under Article 16 of the Electricity Act 1998 to operate, construct, renew and expand electricity networks. In performance of this statutory duty, the municipality sells land to grid operators.
