Werkcentrum Fryslân: one central desk for all questions about work
Werkcentrum Fryslân officially opened on October 9, 2025. This new central counter is there for anyone with questions about work. Job seekers, workers and employers can visit an online counter via werkcentrumfryslan.nl or walk in to the physical location at Stationsweg 13 in Leeuwarden. Werkcentrum Fryslân offers free independent advice to all residents and employers in Fryslân.

Whether you are young or old, looking for employees, working or eager to work or nearing retirement. Everyone is welcome at Werkcentrum Fryslân. Whether you need help finding work, development, training or personnel issues: at Werkcentrum Fryslân we help directly or point the way.
Werkcentrum Fryslân is part of a nationwide reform of the labor market infrastructure. Every labor market region in the Netherlands opens a work center with the same recognizable image and name. In Fryslân we do so under the name Werkcentrum Fryslân.
Collaboration
Several partners work together in Werkcentrum Fryslân, including UWV and all 18 Frisian municipalities, Province of Fryslân, educational institutions, social development companies, social partners and Cooperation Organization for Vocational Education and Training Industry (SBB).
