Request a waste container or report a defect
If you meet a number of conditions, you can use an extra sortibak (waste container) at a reduced rate or a free sortibak. You can find more information about this at the bottom of this page.

Has your container broken?
In that case, you can have it exchanged for another one. You can report the broken container digitally via the green 'report waste container' button.
Please consider the following:
- Reporting a broken container is possible every day.
- Would you like to have the container ready for collection starting the next working day after registration? The broken container will be exchanged within one week of your report.
- The old container must be accessible from your home (for example, in front of the house near the front door or in the driveway) but not on the road.
Has the chip broken?
You can use the green 'report waste container' button to digitally report to us that the chip needs to be replaced.
Please take the following into account:
- The container must be accessible from your home (for example, near the front door or on the driveway), but not on the road.
- When replacing the chip, the container does not need to be empty, as we are only replacing the chip.
- The chip will be replaced within a week after notification (for example, if reported on Thursday, the chip will be replaced no later than the following Thursday).
Do you need an extra container?

You can use the green 'report waste container' button to request an extra organic waste container (green), sorted waste container (grey), or paper container (in the villages where this applies). Also, read the conditions under the heading 'Conditions for extra containers'.

If you meet a number of conditions, you can have an extra 'sortibak' (container for recyclable waste) at a reduced rate or a free 'sortibak'. You can read about these conditions under the heading 'Conditions for extra containers'.
Conditions for extra containers
You are eligible for an extra sortibak at a reduced rate of €82.20 per year:
- if you have a household of 6 or more people;
- when you have a household of 5 or more people, with one or more children in diapers.
You are eligible for a free extra sortibak:
- when you have a household where, based on medical reasons (for example, stoma bags/incontinence material), there is extra household waste, go to the medical waste page. Here you can read how to request a medical container.
Container for a new building?
You can use the green 'report waste container' button to request a container for your new home. You can only submit the request if you are registered at the address of the new home.
Container for businesses?
The municipality does not collect commercial waste and therefore does not provide containers to businesses. You can hire a certified collector for this.
