Requesting/viewing building plans

If you're planning to expand your home, it can be useful to do so using a construction drawing of the existing layout. Your architect or construction company will certainly ask for this, as both the layout and dimensions won't need to be re-measured.

Don't have old building plans for your home? The municipality might have them. Our archive contains thousands of building plans, plans on the basis of which a building permit was once issued.

Especially if the construction plan is more recent, there is a chance that the municipality also has soil investigation reports and data on the foundations used. Depending on your construction plan, this type of information can also be essential for the construction company. Often, they are also required for applying for a building permit.

Requested building drawings are retrieved once a week. It may take a few days before we can send you the requested documents.

How much does it cost?

Viewing building plans is free of charge. If you want a copy of a building plan, you will have to pay for it.

The costs of the documents depend on their format, which is determined by the drawing in the file. If the construction drawing in the file is printed on A0 size, we charge the 'A0' rate. If it's on A3, we charge the A3 rate, and so on.

  • A4: € 6.20
  • A3: € 6.20
  • A2: € 10.30
  • A1: € 14.45
  • A0: € 20.65

If you want to receive a document on A4 paper, which is not a construction drawing (i.e. reports/regulations, etc.), it will cost € 0.30 per copy. Shipping costs will be charged separately.

You can also receive a drawing by e-mail as a PDF file. This costs € 3.05.
