With the Government Information (Public Access) Act (Woo), you can access municipal documents and files that have not yet been actively made public by the municipality. You can do this with our form, but you can also submit a Woo request by calling us on 14 0511.

What is the Government Information (Public Access) Act?

The Government Information (Public Access) Act (Woo) regulates the inspection of certain government documents that have not yet been made public. This gives you the opportunity to request information about what the government is doing. Read more about the Woo on Rijksoverheid.nl.

The municipality already actively discloses information.

You can find this information on our site. It concerns the following topics:

• Decisions of the executive board of the Mayor and Aldermen
• Agenda and decisions of the municipal council
• Zoning plans on Ruimtelijkeplannen.nl (Spatial Plans).
• Municipal Budget
• Municipal Procedure

Do you want to know or request something that we do not actively make public?

You can do this with a Freedom of Information Act (Woo) request. However, a Woo request also has exceptions, such as information that is sensitive for competition or personal information.

You will receive a response within 4 weeks.

If we need longer to process your request, we may extend this period by 2 weeks. If that is not enough either, for example because you are requesting a lot of information, we will contact you.

At the moment, it is not possible for us to publish Freedom of Information Act (Woo) requests, Woo decisions, and documents on the site. We are trying to solve this problem as quickly as possible.
