Christmas tree collection
In the second week of January, the Christmas trees will be collected again. You can leave your Christmas tree by the side of the road.
The collection schedule for 2025 is as follows:
- Monday, January 6: Oentsjerk, Mûnein, Aldtsjerk
- Tuesday, January 7: Hurdegaryp, Tytsjerk, Suwâld
- Wednesday, January 8: Ryptsjerk, Gytsjerk, Wyns
- Thursday, January 9: Noardburgum, Jistrum, Eastermar
- Friday, January 10: Burgum
- Monday, January 13: Sumar, Garyp, Earnewâld
Collection missed? No problem! You can take your Christmas tree to the composting site in Sumar free of charge.
