Making a statement of support
Political parties participating in the House of Representatives election for the first time need declarations of support from voters. From September 1 to September 15, 2025, you can make such a declaration for political parties wishing to participate during our opening hours. To do so, please make an appointment.
When is a statement of support needed?
A declaration of support is required for a political party to participate in the House of Representatives elections. Political parties need 30 declarations of support if they are participating in elections for the first time. The Electoral Council is the central electoral committee for this House of Representatives election.
How do I make the statement?
Submitting a statement of support works like this:
- From the party for which you want to fill out the declaration, you will receive the "Support Declaration" form (model H4). This includes the party's list of candidates.
- You complete the statement of support. Note: do not put your signature yet. You will only do that at the counter in the town hall or at the service point.
- Preferably, make an appointment to turn in your statement of support. For this election, you can do so from September 1 to September 15, 2025. You can also drop by without an appointment, please report to the front desk.
- Bring the completed statement of support with you to City Hall, including the full list of candidates. Also bring your proof of identity with you.
- At the counter, you put your signature.
