What you can do yourself

To prevent pest infestation, you can do the following:

  • Keep everything in and around your home or business thoroughly clean;
  • Do not pile material along walls to avoid hiding places;
  • Close your trash containers tightly, put them out of the sun and as far away from windows and doors as possible;
  • Be careful with pet food: seal it tightly so pests cannot get to it.
