What you can do yourself

To prevent nuisance from pests, you can do the following:

  • Keep everything in and around your home or business clean;
  • Do not stack material against walls to prevent hiding places;
  • Close your waste containers properly, place them out of the sun and as far away from windows and doors as possible;
  • Be careful with animal feed: make sure it is properly sealed so that pests cannot get to it.
