Prize-giving ceremony Energietour raffle
The winners of the Energy Tour raffle received their prizes from Alderwoman Berber van Zandbergen on Wednesday, January 10. The main prize is a cheque for 600 euros, to be spent on a white goods appliance. The three other prize winners will receive an infrared panel. Residents who visited the Energy Tour in the past period could leave a flyer with their details. This allowed them to participate in the raffle. The draw was held on December 22, 2023.
'Energy costs remain high. We believe it is important that energy bills remain affordable for everyone,' says alderman van Zandbergen. 'With the Energy Tour, we are helping residents save energy close to home.'
Energy Tour
The homely furnished Energy Truck is the place where residents can get practical tips and advice from an energy coach on how to save more energy with small adjustments.
Every visitor who speaks with the Energy Coach receives a pair of warm socks of their choice. In addition, free energy-saving products can be taken away after a visit to save more energy at home.
The following villages will be visited in the coming weeks: Burgum, Oentsjerk, Tytsjerk, Sumar, Hurdegaryp, Noardburgum, Jistrum, Eastermar, Garyp, Ryptsjerk, Gytsjerk.
