When will the municipality begin pruning?

There are different times to prune, it depends on the type of plant and shrub. Usually the municipality starts pruning in late October until March 15. Then the municipality continues pruning trees until the end of April.

When will the trimmings be collected after the municipality has pruned?

Pruning debris sometimes stays around for a long time. During the pruning period, pruning waste is not always cleaned up immediately. During that period, the municipality is pruning with several teams at the same time. Sites are gathered together for targeted cleanup, shredding or loading onto trucks.

Do you have your own pruning waste? Then you may bring it to the municipal composting site. If you cannot bring it yourself, the municipality will pick it up for a fee. Check our website for more information.
