Is your passport or identity card about to expire?
Many more passports and identity cards than usual are expiring throughout the Netherlands this year. This leads to an extra large number of applications for travel documents. That is why we are organizing an action week from May 27 to May 31: residents who have a travel document that will expire soon can come by to apply for a new travel document.
Residents are encouraged not to wait too long to apply for their new travel document to avoid a long waiting time. During the campaign week, the town hall is open extra often and in the evenings. In addition, the town hall will be transformed into a tropical holiday destination, complete with ice-cold refreshments.
During the week of action, you are welcome from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM or from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM. However, it is necessary to make an appointment. You can make an appointment here.
A new travel document can of course also be applied for after the campaign week. The normal opening hours will then apply again.
