Confused behavior

Sometimes people exhibit behaviors that are difficult for those around them to understand. For example, because someone is confused, behaves aggressively, or wanders around for no apparent reason. We call this "confused behavior. Often there is more going on, such as psychological problems, addiction, dementia or other vulnerabilities. This requires care and customization.

What does the congregation do?

  • We work with police, healthcare agencies, the social realm and community residents to help people with confused behavior quickly and appropriately.
  • We try to prevent situations from escalating by making contact at an early stage.

What can you do?

  • Are you concerned about someone exhibiting confused behavior?
Contact the police by phone at 0900-8844 or call 112 in case of acute danger.
  • For less urgent situations, you can also contact the social neighborhood team or Care and Nuisance hotline ???????????????????
  • In doubt? Report it anyway - rather one time too many than too few.

Together we provide safety and care

Confused behavior is not always punishable, but it can raise concerns among residents. By working well together we ensure safety in the neighborhood and the right help for people who need it.
