Intention to sell plot of land at De Geasten 3 NST in Jistrum

The municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel intends to sell the plot of land located at De Geasten 3 NST in Jistrum, known in the land registry as municipality of Oostermeer, section G, number 2379, measuring approximately 22 m². The plot to be sold is to be used for a transformer station. The sale price for the plot is €3,300, excluding 21% VAT, costs payable by the buyer.

The municipality is of the opinion that, based on objective, reasonable and testable criteria, there is 1 serious candidate eligible to purchase this piece of land. Network operators have an obligation under Article 16 of the Electricity Act 1998 to operate, construct, renew and expand electricity networks. In performance of this statutory duty, the municipality sells land to grid operators.

If you believe that you too should be eligible to purchase the plot based on the criteria set out above, you must initiate summary proceedings before the preliminary relief judge of the District Court of Northern Netherlands within 20 calendar days, i.e. no later than January 6, 2026. The deadline is a strict deadline.
