Extract from the Basic Register of Persons (BRP)

Do you need proof that you live in the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel? If so, request an extract from the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP). It will include your name, address, place of birth, and date of birth. 

You can also have other information put on it, such as your nationality or your previous residential addresses. Therefore, when you apply, specify what you need the extract for. 

BRP a BRP Extract 

There are two ways BRP request a BRP extract: 

  • you request the document online using the button below. You pay immediately via iDEAL. You will receive your extract by mail within 5 working days. 
  • You make an appointment to make the entire application at City Hall. You pay for the document during your appointment. You can take the document with you right away.

What am I taking?

Are you applying for a BRP extract BRP at city hall? If so, please bring the following with you: 

  • a valid ID; 
  • cash or a bank card.

Authorize someone else?

When someone else makes the application to the municipality for you, that person will bring the following:  

  • A valid ID of oneself; 
  • A copy of your proof of identity; 
  • include a letter stating the reason for your request and authorizing the authorized representative to collect the extract. This letter is signed by both of you. 

From abroad / For European citizens

Do you need a transcript for a foreign agency? If so, you can request a transcript in multiple languages. You can specify this when you submit your application. 

For residents of Europe without DigiD 

Do you live abroad and do not have a DigiD but use another digital identity system? If so, you can use the link or form below with the digital identity system of the country where you live. 

For European citizens  

Are you a European citizen? If so, you can request a transcript in English with your country's digital authentication (eIDAS).

Requesting an extract for your child?

Parents, if they are registered at the same address, can request an extract for their minor children. When making the (online) request, please indicate that you are requesting the extract for your child. Please indicate the name and date of birth of the child.
