Passport or identity card for children
Children need their own passport or identity card to travel abroad or to identify themselves, for example when receiving medical care. You must apply for a passport or identity card together with your child.
You will visit twice in person with your child: once to apply and once to pick up.
Give prior consent
- For a passport for children under 18 years of age: consent required from both parents/guardians with parental authority.
- For an identity card for children up to 12 years of age: consent required from both parents/guardians with parental authority.
